Joe- The reason that all republicrats can justify their various pro and anti war positions is that the world's problems are rooted much deeper into the past than the last fifty or even one hundred years. The fact is that Saddam was no friend of the US, but the US has commited just as many crimes against humanity as any other nation, more than many. NAFTA, WTO, G8, the World Bank, and other groups are perfect examples of how the bi-partisan corporate agenda has crippled all but the richest men in the world. In short, no body should have WMDs (including the United States), the voting system in the US is fucked, politics in the US are fucked, and the whole planet is going to hell in a handbasket due to the repeated insistance of corrupt politicians. Fuck George Bush, fuck John Kerry...I hope evrybody's figured out how they're getting out of the impending universal draft.
cheers.

I never claimed Kerry wouldn't take it up the ass, he's about the most mediocre candidate to run for president since Bob Dole, and at least Bob Dole is funny. I didn't lower myself to voting for Kerry, it makes no difference to me who enstates the draft this year, although I was hoping it would have to be Kerry, so his base would get pissed off and vote third party; and that, by the way, is what separates democrats from republicans, republicans will never ditch their candidate no matter what sort of a jack off he is.

Another $50 says no draft resolution will be proposed by the RNC. The resolution that was being kicked around was made by extreme leftists. Go figure.

Rather than begin some sort of illegal gambling pool online, I would like to ask the both of you why you believe and support George Bush; you especially, Carl. Last I recall you were a secular humanist, if this is still the case what in George Bush's neo-conservative, evangelically fueled agenda appeals to you? His fiscal conservatism (insert laughter here)? His attempt at ending late term abortion failed only because it did not allow an abortion in the case that the mother's life were at risk, because his fundamentalist puppeteers would not allow for such a loop hole. George Bush's unprecidented expansion of government and it's powers over the people, the ones that supposedly own it. George Bush's attack on Iraq was utterly unnessicary and has created a situation in which we now must send forty year old reservists to fight, not for WMDs, not for human rights violations (which are allowed only in designated areas, such as Sudan), and not for pre-existing al Queda cells, but those that relocated and flourished in a chaotic Iraq. In the case that yr vote was cast based simply on alleged fiscal conservatism, I ask you: what happened to our surplus? why are we expanding government programs, like the faith-based initiative? --and you, Joseph; If you are as much the Christian as you say you are why is it that you would go so far as to support a president who destroys entire cities in the search for terror cells that moved out weeks ago because the US offensive was announced on CNN weeks ago. If we lived in the real world; where people voted, and voted their minds; elections yeilded real and honest results, with actual paper trails; where the majority of the media would not be owned by the six major international corporations, all of whom have an interest in continued warfare; I believe that you, Joe would support the Constitution Party, and you, Carl would most likely be a Libertarian, like yrs truly. However, we do not live in the real world, we live in the United States with fake news, fake democracy, and fake politicians. If you want less government, support runoff voting and back actual conservatives, not just big-name conservatives. Regardless of who won the election I anticipated the possibilty of the draft, another 4000 reservists got their call yesterday, and I forsee it inching closer and closer, just as I forsaw Bush's "victory.' If I could afford to pay my rent I would take yr bet in a heartbeat, but I have enough late bills; so how about the three of us conservatives agree to an honorable "I told you so,' by this time 2008.
