It's kinda odd that I'm glad that Kerry picked a more conservative running mate, but I am. I think it'll help him win a lot more voters and I'm all for anything that will help Kerry get more votes than Bush. Plus, Edwards is pretty keen on the environment, so that's a plus.
Oh, and in case anyone's wondering or couldn't tell from this post, I've caved to the two-party system and decided to vote for Kerry.

Edwards is the only thing Kerry really has going for him, other than the fact that he hasn't reverted to a crusade esque mentality.

lol...
<qoute> See, Saddam never made any threats to the US. He was a ruthless ruler, but is that any reason to get into a war. If we got into wars with any country just because the ruler was unfair, it would practically be us against the world. Judging by the amount of bad feelings made by this war, I feel all we did was make more enemies, rather than going after the one we thought was responsible for 9/11 in the first place. It's obvious that going after Iraq was something on Bush's agenda from the getgo, and he mislead the country to thinking Saddam was a bigger threat than he actually was. But now it may just sound like I'm spitting out facts from the movie so I might as well just end this post. <quote>
Are you really naive enough to think the rest of the world wasn't jealous and hated us before the war. It has always been that way and will continue to be that way. Forever...

NNOOOO!!!!!!!! from what i know of all you guys (dan), and i think that'd be a lot since i too was pounding on dan's (your) uterus (although it was externally by the means of new, far out, and spacey devices given to me by my neat, new alien overlords), we want change. and the only real way to get it is by voting a good third party cadidate into the white house. if i'm not mistaken, there are more and more third party people in congress getting in every year. the more we vote them in, the more likely it is that a third party president will happen. that's about all my sleepy little head can do for now. dan, expect to hear from my lawer concerning the impending paternaty suit. brett, if it's yours, i only need say this: zzzzzzzzzzzap.

What? I didn't say that there weren't people that hated us befor the war started. Now you're just putting words in my mouth and drawing far out conclusions. I said "I feel as though we were making MORE enemies." Not "I feel the US has just made its first enemies ever." So, maybe you should read the post for what it is and not draw ridiculous conclusions. I don't think a large chunk the world hates us for being richer or having a bigger army, though. I think that they hate us for trying to control other countries under the guise of saying we're trying to make those countries better. Anyway, will the new Iraq leader be better than the last? www.smh.com.au/articles/2004/07/19/1090089101841.html?oneclick=trueI should get to things that really matter in the world. Did you hear about the accusations mounting against Lance Armstrong on if he's doping up to enhance his performance in the Tour de France? Shocking. Why are we focusing on Iraq when this is such a huge issue?

Jesse, the reason I decided to vote for Kerry rather than Nader is because I decided that it's more important that we get Bush out than to take a ideological stand to "get a third-party candidate in" (which won't happen this year). Nearly any other year, I would vote Nader all the way, believe me.

There are about six stages left in the Tour out of about twenty. Lance just won two stages in a row and is the overall leader of the race so far. And I never thought I'd get into cycling. I also never thought I'd get into baseball. And basketball either for a matter of fact. How things change.
